SOREPA refutes

IMPHAL, Feb 2: Reacting to media reports that one SOREPA recruiter Moirangthem Naoba Meitei alias Manaoton (27) of Jiribam Leingangpokpi, presently staying at Moirangkampu and SOREPA cadre Ningombam Rabichandra (23) s/o Pakpi of Moidangpok Khunou Mayai Leikai were arrested from Top Moirangkampu Forest Gate and Nambol Khoriphaba respectively a few days back, the Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak has dismissed the same reports as fabricated.
A press release issued by the outfit’s publicity secretary MC Yaiphabi said that there is no Major Laingou in the rank and file of SOREPA.
The reports also mentioned one Sanatomba of Langathel but he has no connection whatsoever with the party, it clarified.
