3 hurt in mishap

NONEY, Feb 2 : Three persons were hurt when a Bolero Camper they were travelling in met with an accident at Nungtek village under Noney police station yesterday.
The three have been identified as Sachuiba, Kabungba and Ringchampou, all from Nungtek village.
The road mishap occurred near a saw mill at Nungtek village at around 8 pm yesterday.
The injured were evacuated and given life saving first aid by a medical team of 107 Infantry (TA) 11 GR. They were then referred to Imphal for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the people of Longmai area are facing immense hardship in availing medical care due to suspension of 24×7 emergency service at Noney PHC for shortage of doctors, said sources.
