KANGPOKPI, Feb.2: The IXth Border Area Kuki Sporting Association (BAKSA) Sports Meet held at Maokot Village in Kamjong District ended peacefully.
The sports meet was participated by 12 teams.
Molvailup Welfare Youth Club won the men's football tournament by beating Maokot Youth Club in the final while two teams from Maokot Youth Club won first and second place in men's volleyball.
Mollen Youth Club and Maokot Youth Club also won the first and second prize in cultural dance competition and women's volleyball event respectively.
Executives of Eastern Kuki Chiefs' Association (EKCA), South Eastern Kuki Youth Organisation (SEKYO) and Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) Kamjong District attended the closing function.
