Over 4 Kgs of brown sugar seized

MOREH, Feb 2: Around 4.125 Kgs of brown sugar, packed in 100 soap cases, were seized by Tengnoupal police from the possession of one Kamminlal Kilong (37) s/o L Kamlien Kilong of Moulsang village near Moreh College, presently staying at Guite Veng, Ward No 9.
Kamminlal Kilong was travelling in a Bolero Pickup when he was intercepted and arrested by police along with the contraband item in between Tengnoupal village and Lamjangtombi, about 2.5 Kms North East of Tengnoupal along Sita Lamkhai at around 2 pm today.
A case has been registered at Tengnoupal police station in connection with the seizure.
