KSDO defeat TCMDC in Superplate Cricket

IMPHAL, Mar 30 : KSDO Kiyamgei sealed a comfortable six wicket win over TCMDC Thoungju Part II Pechu Lampak in today's match of the ongoing  2nd MNCA Superplate Tournament at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak.
Batting first, TCMDC made 151/10 in 32.2 overs while the Kiyamgei side completed the chase in 24.4 overs with six wickets remaining.
Shajahan of KSDO dismissed five wickets in the first  innings and he was declared man of the match.
The top run scorers of the Thongju side were skipper Suraj Kharibam (24 runs off 27 balls); Rain Urikhinbam (23 off 36 balls) and Ashok Kumar Maibam (20 runs off 23 balls).
KSDO Kiyamgei  completed the chase in 24.4 overs  with Mohammed Shamir Khan who smashed unbeaten  76 off 68 balls as the top scorer.
The wicket-takers in the innings were Suraj Khaibam (2 wkts), Kongbrailatpam Kalyan Sharma (1 wkt) and Thongam Tuljit (1 wkt).
