King Charles grants audience to Licypriya

IMPHAL, Mar 30 : Licypriya Kangujam, the 11 year old climate and environmental activist, met King Charles III of UK on Wednesday at the German Presidential Palace during her visit for the 9th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2023.
A statement claimed that the young activist might be the first Manipuri to meet the British King.
On her 3-day official visit to Berlin, she also met the President of Germany, Frank Walter and the President of Kenya, William Ruto.
It may be noted that Licypriya was invited by the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the opening keynote at the 9th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2023.  
She talked about Manipur and the strategy to fight climate change with the King.
The King praised the young climate activist for her incredible work at her age and assured full support.
