NERAU, NESC advance to QFs in Shirui Lily Cup

IMPHAL, Mar 30 : NERAU and NESC have advanced to the quarterfinals of the ongoing 30th Shirui Lily Cup.
NERAU sealed a narrow 1-0 win over Classic FC while NESC beat FC Raengdai in penalty at Ukhrul Headquarters Ground, today.
The winning goal for NERAU was netted by Shirinmi (83').
The following match between NESC and FC Raengdai was decided by penalty as the normal time ended in a 3-3 draw.
Edwin of FC Raengdai scored a brace in the match (7th, 34th) while his team-mate Kinduanpao scored another in the 73rd minute. The scorers of NESC, on the other hand , were Sanathoi (50th), N Pacha (55) and M David (88th).
NESC got the better of FC Raengdai in the shoot-out as the former converted three shots while their opponent scored two goals. The match ended 6-5 in favour of NESC.
