Skill training conducted for street vendors

The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) in collaboration with Autonomous District Council, Chandel and Women Market, Chandel District organised a skill training programme for street vendors at the Women’s Market in Chandel.
The programme began with a prayer by Er Robertson Wanglum, Hnatham village chief, said a release issued by The Entrepreneurs Associates.
Speaking on the occasion, Sopemla Shithung, development associate tEA Manipur gave a brief account of how the Entrepreneurs Associates was established and its initiatives-  Livelihood, training and mentoring the First-Generation Entrepreneurs (FGEs), Trees for Wealth (TFW), The Trees For Wealth (TfW).
About 64 persons including street vendors and trainees from FWWB-NABARD Project  took part in the event.
Dr Tongen Roel, District Leprosy & TB Officer, Chandel District emphasized the significance of maintaining good health and fitness.
Ng Barbara, president Elingbung Self Help Group, shared her experiences of how tEA trained and assisted her group in progressing further.
The programme concluded with a benediction by Deenshang Monsang, leader of Women Market, Chandel district.
