Civic Action Programmes continue

As a part of Civic Action Programme, 10 Battalion BSF under the aegis of Dinesh Singh Rawat, DIG, SHQ BSF CI (Ops) Manipur, 10 Battalion BSF conducted welfare and development activities for the villagers at Upper Primary School, Heirok on March 31.
The Battalion provided essentials goods including sewing machines, solar lights, water storage tanks, PVC water pipes, incinerator machines, volleyball, football, badminton racquets, nets, shuttlecocks, etc to the villagers of Wangjing, Heirok GP Part-1, Part-2, Part-3 and Tentha, said a release issued by BSF.
Essential items were also provided at Heirok P-II High School, Heirok Upper High School, Heinoukhong Residential School, Government Lower Primary School, Government High School Wangjing and Gilgal High School, Loktak.
Kuldip Raju, 2IC, Officer Commandant 10 Bn BSF; Karan Singh, Deputy Commandant; Gouri Singh Bhardwaj, Deputy Commandant; Santosh Kumar Singh, Deputy Commandant and KS Rana, Assistant Commandant 10 Bn BSF took part in the events.
At the event, Kuldip Raju shared that under the Civic Action Programme, BSF has been trying to address the needs and requirements of the locals.
He also assured that BSF will continue to serve the people of Manipur by carrying out such humanitarian activities in the future.
Moreover, as a part of Civic Action Programme, 32 Battalion CRPF under the aegis of Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF distributed water storage tanks at Leimatak on March 31.
H Ranjit Singh, Commandant 32 Bn CRPF; Ritesh Thakur, 2-1/C; Rajesh Kumar, 2-1/C and Parbhat Saini, DC took part in the event, said a statement of CRPF.
Gram Panchayat of Silen, Leimatak and locals of the area extended their appreciation to the Battalion for the kind gesture.
