Sarju, Uma get Indian softball team trial call

IMPHAL, May 22 : Two State softball players, L Sarju Devi and S Uma Chanu are set to attend Indian Softball team trial for the Asian Games due to be held in China this September.
The players, who were called up for the National team trial based on their outstanding performances in the 44th Senior National Softball Championship held in February last, departed Imphal today for Delhi for the trial, said Manipur Softball Association in a statement.
The trial selection is to be held from May 23 to 25 at Delhi Sports Complex F-Block Vikash Puri, as per the statement.
