Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina recently traveled to the United States, the UK, and Japan. The primary objectives of this trip were to forge new economic alliances for Bangladesh and to discuss political viewpoints with important players or superpowers over the global political and economic system.
Bangladesh has consistently stood on a firm foundation as it has expanded its political and economic dominance with China, NATO, and the US. The bilateral and multilateral economic powers of the world are becoming directly and indirectly involved with the domestic politics of Bangladesh in order to forge political and diplomatic ties with Bangladesh for the geopolitical interests of the West in the Pacific region and to resolve the conflict with China. It would thus be difficult to identify a diplomatic alternative to Sheikh Hasina, even if the world’s superpowers are engaged in a political struggle in Bangladesh ahead of the nation’s next elections.
Bangabandhu has been followed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the indisputable defender of Bangladesh’s political, economic, and social progress. Russia has also participated in the process of gaining power in Asia and the Pacific, and the evil plot by the political opposition to capture control has been added to the political power struggle between the two global superpowers involved in the crisis in Ukraine. Even though the global economy has significantly altered how people live, only Bangladesh has been able to broaden the scope of success in South Asia by maintaining an economic growth rate that is reasonable.
Bangladeshis choose political structures that foster wealth above terrorism and corruption. As a result, Sheikh Hasina’s political efforts and recent trip have strengthened Bangladesh’s position as a regional leader in Asia and the Pacific.
