State's integrity will remain intact, says Moirang MLA

BISHNUPUR, May 30: Moirang Assembly Constituency MLA Thongam Shanti has categorically asserted that the integrity of the State will remain intact despite "Kuki terrorists" attempting to bring about a disintegration.
Today relief camp inmates selected from the twenty-three camps scattered across Moirang AC to submit a five-point memorandum to the Union Home Minister and the Chief Minister called on the MLA at his residence.
While speaking in this connection, the MLA assured that he will surely handover the memorandum to the two political leaders.
Urging the people to have faith in the Government, he added that as an MLA he is prepared to fight for the integrity of Manipur.
One of the relief camp inmates who came to submit the memorandum urged Amit Shah to launch a probe into the conflict that has ravaged the State. Expressing discontent with the lack of State assistance, she urged the Government to make adequate arrangements to meet the basic fooding and lodging needs of the relief camp inmates.
