PCL organises rally at Lilong

THOUBAL, May 30: Peace Committee Lilong organised a protest rally at Lilong calling for the Centre's intervention in restoring normalcy and to protect the integrity of Manipur.
The protest rally saw large scale participation of the residents of Lilong.
Later, the Committee submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister and Home Minister of India through SDO Lilong.
Speaking in this connection, Md Islahuddin, convenor, Peace Committee Lilong condemned the spread of rumours by certain individuals to fuel the divide between the communities. Listing the terms included in the memorandum, he shared that PCL called for an end to the violence, restoration of peace and protection of Manipur's integrity.
