Shah reaches out to displaced people

IMPHAL, May 31 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah interacted with the displaced people from Churachandpur and Moreh who are taking shelter at the relief camp set up at Ideal Girls College in Akampat under Thongju Constituency, today.
The inmates at the relief camps apprised their ordeals to the Amit Shah.
They told the Union Home Minister that Kuki militants deliberately torched and vandalised Meetei shops, houses, Temples right under the nose of the security forces.
After listening to the complaints, Amit Shah said that the Government understands the plight of the people and will work out a solution soon.
The Union Home Minister also inspected every room of the relief camp.
Amit Shah was accompanied by Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Works Minister Govindas Konthoujam and Government officials.
