THB/BPR, May 31: Pulleipokpi Social Welfare AssociationSangaiyumpham has donated relief materials to the relief camps at Wangjing Kodompokpi sports complex and Lamding Higher Secondary school today.
It may be noted that locals under the jurisdiction of Pulleipokpi Social Welfare Association, Sangaiyumpham collected funds to make the relief extension initiative possible.
Relief items in the form of clothes and essential items were donated today.
Separately, maidens of Uchiwa and Hayel have donated five hundred phaneks, 100 khudeis, sanitary pads, sugar, biscuits, detergent, clothes etc to the relief camps set up at Hiyanglam, Wabagai, Langmeidong and Kakching.
Furthermore, a national organisation by the name of 'CASA' and based in Guwahati, Delhi and Nagaland sent relief packages containing 13 edible items to the relief camps at Sekmai, Thamnapokpi, Ngangkhalawai and Terakhongsangbi.
The packages were distributed to roughly 250 relief camp inmates.
Notably, general secretary of New Life Foundation Manipur and Childline Bishnupur Director Doctor L Pishak Singh have lauded the effort of CASA.
