Manipur open U-17 girls' Subroto Cup campaign with 24-0 demolition of Navy School

IMPHAL, Sep 20 : Manipur's Ananda Purna School of Science pulverised Navy School 24-0 to open their Pool A campaign in the 62nd Subroto Cup International Football Tournament on a bright note.
Henarita topscored with 10 goals in this one sided match as L Nira added 5 goals and Bidyanganbi scored thrice.
Anjali and Silky also netted two goals apiece for the State team against the hapless Navy School while Julan and Helenna grabbed a goal each.
The Thoubal school will play Madhya Pradesh in the next match tomorrow.
