Manipur reach Jr Girls' NFC semis

IMPHAL, Sep 25 : Manipur  reached the semi-finals of the ongoing Junior Girls' National Football Championship 2023-24 by beating Haryana by a slender 1-0 margin today in a crucial Group B encounter today.
The lone goal that made all the difference was scored by Ningthoujam Olivia Chanu in the 55th minute.
With the win, Manipur, who have registered a 6-0 win over Maharashtra and 2-1 win over Delhi in the previous matches, finished Group winners and qualified for the semis.
They will meet hosts Odisha, who finished Group D winners with two wins in three matches, in the semi-final.
In the dead rubber Group B match, Delhi outclassed Maharashtra 6-0.
