Drones prohibited

IMPHAL, Apr 14: In view of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the State capital on Monday, operation of any kind of drones or remotely piloted vehicles (RPVs) or any of its kind has been strictly prohibited in the entire route starting from Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal to Sanjenthong.
Imphal West District Magistrate Th Kirankumar issued an order to this effect today.
Drones or any of its kind should not fly over the restricted areas marked as permanent Red Zone by the State Government viz; Raj Bhavan, CM’s Secretariat office complex, Assembly complex, Civil Secretariat, Babupara, Police Headquarters, Babupara and Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, the order mentioned.
