IMPHAL, Apr 14: The Zeliangrong Union (AMN) has condemned the killing of Alar Sheikho, joint secretary ZUF as well as disruption of election campaign of Independent candidate Dr Alyson Abonmai at Noney and Tamenglong district headquarters on Friday.
Atrocities by and killing among different UG groups within Zeliangrong areas have disturbed the peaceful atmosphere and created panic and fear psychosis among the general populace, said a press release issued by ZU. It appealed to all the UG groups operating in Zeliangrong areas to refrain from any form of violence, killing and restrain from any disruptive activities during the election.
