Arms and ammunition recovered

IMPHAL, Apr 16: A combined team of Kakching district commandos and personnel of 37 Assam Rifles carried out a search operation at Utangpokpi village under Sugnu police station and recovered arms and ammunition today afternoon.
The arms and ammunition recovered include one country made pistol with one empty magazine, five Indian made hand-grenade without detonator and fuse, one empty SLR magazine, one Baofeng handset, one smoke shell and three bulletproof vests. The arms and ammunition have been handed over to Sugnu police station.
