Election related exercise conducted

KAMJONG, Apr 16 (DIO): As the poll dates for the 18th Lok Sabha come closer, the District Election Office Kamjong today conducted multiple group-wise training of the polling personnel at the Kamjong Election Hall (NIELIT Hall) located inside the Mini Secretariat, Ukhrul. Today's group-wise training include training on operation and sealing of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), sensitisation on EVMs, training on duties of PRO, hands on training on EVMs, mock poll and actual poll, training on form filling of form 17 A, 17B and 17C, training on Presiding Officer's diary, training on Poll Star , e-Atlas and Traccar Application.
The group-wise training, attended by 105 polling personnel including Presiding Officers and other POs, were imparted by District Election Officer/DC Kamjong, Rangnamei Rang Peter, IAS, along with SDO, Sahamphung, Subinson and Mirinso Shadang (IT). A hands on training on EVM was also held by master trainers Ringsongam Ningshen, Zingrinso Hungyo, Penmichon Mungrei, S Worngachan, AS Thotchui, Chanmayo Kashap. It may be mentioned that a training of Sector Officers of the district was held yesterday at the same venue.
