U-19 Women's One Day Trophy YPHUC post 56 run victory over Al-Ameen

IMPHAL, Apr 17 : YPHUC rode on bowlers to post a 56 run victory over Al-Ameen, Lilong in a Group B encounter of the ongoing 2nd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak today.
YPHUC were able to gather 94 runs for 9 in 28 overs but the total proved too big for Al-Ameen who succumbed to 56 all out within 15.3 in reply.
Al Ameen conceded 55 extras in YPHUC innings that saw only Joyshree Charoibam (11) adding a double digit run despite Sanjida (4/35 in 5 overs) and Najiya Begum (3/9 in 6 overs) sharing 7 wickets.
Suchitra (3/3 in 3 overs), Tongbram Nilky (3/11 in 5.3 overs) and Ningthoisana Thoudam (2/11 in 4 overs) then ripped apart the Al-Ameen line up to set up the 56 run victory.
Meanwhile, rain played spoilsports at THAU ground forcing SHADOW, Thangmeiband and PTRC, Patsoi Part IV to share a point apiece.
PTRC were 67/8 after 14.2 overs when rain stopped the play.
