THAU, PTCC stretch winning runs in 2nd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy

IMPHAL, Apr 20 : THAU, Thangmeiband and PTCC, Patsoi Part III stretch their Group A winning runs to 3 and 2 games respectively in the ongoing 2nd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy.
At THAU ground, THAU notched up a 216 run victory over PTRC, Patsoi Part IV for the third straight win courtesy of Niruta Thoudam's 84-ball 156.
THAU racked up 302/5 in 30 overs on the back of Niruta and 65 extras before bundled out PTRC for 86 runs in 27.5 overs riding on Konjengbam Nonibala (3/11), Hijam Malemkhombi (2/3) and Seterny Devi Brahmacharimayum (2/14).
Elsewhere at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, PTCC hammered SHADOW by 10 wickets for the second win in three matches.
SHADOW won the toss and opted to bat first but were bundled out for a meagre total of 23 runs within 12.5 and PTCC chased down the target in 2.3 overs without losing any wicket. Angoubi Devi Khundrakpam (4/6), Niruka (2/5), Bandana (2/5) and Sanaloo Takhelmayum (2/2) devastated SHADOW batting line up sending 8 batters out on ducks before Laishram Teresa scored 11-ball 22 to seal the victory.
Angoubi Devi was adjudged player of the match.
