YAS Director greets L Chaoba

IMPHAL, Apr 25 : Director of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, T Phulen has congratulated Langam Chaoba on being appointed as the head coach of the Senior National Women's Football team for the second time.
In a congratulatory note, T Phulen said Chaoba is a shining example of how to achieve anything through dedication and perseverance.
The achievement of the National team at the recently concluded Turkish Cup under her mentorship was praiseworthy and hopefully she will guide the Indian team to perform better in the bigger stages, he wrote.
There is truly no one more deserving than her, he added while wishing the former India captain, who had represented India in Asian Games and SAF games, to reach whatever heights she aspires to.
She is the only women AFC-A license holder from North East India and was former assistant coach of the National team, the YAS Director noted.
