SYC rally to hold PYDA in K Babu Memorial Super Division Football League

IMPHAL, Apr 27 : SYC, Sagang come from behind twice to hold PYDA, Kwakta to a 2-2 draw in the fourth match of the 4th Keisham Babu Memorial Super Division Football League 2022-23 being organised by the District Football Association Moirang at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School playground.
PYDA went ahead with Maqbul Alam finding the breakthrough in the 16th minute but Isaya Kom equalised for SYC in the 36th minute to make it 1-1 at halftime.
After the restart, PYDA managed to regain their lead in the 68th minute through Nawas Sarif but the lead was cancelled four minutes later as M Tonpung Kom found the equaliser.
It was an end to end affair after the equaliser with both teams struggling to make difference but the scoreline remained unchanged till the final whistle.
FC Kumbi will play ELSA, Naranseina in the next match tomorrow.
