Held with WY tablets

IMPHAL, Nov 20: A huge quantity of WY tablets weighing 5.669 Kgs was seized by a combined team of Senapati Police, Assam Rifles and CRPF this morning.
The security team conducted frisking and checking at Phikomei junction, around 2 Kms south of Mao police station early this morning.
During the operation, one individual was intercepted leading to a recovery of five packets of suspected WY tablets, weighing 5.669 Kgs.
Subsequently, the security forces arrested the individual identified as Al Mamun (30) s/o Sona Ulla from VTC Batabari, Goalpara, Assam.
Apart from the WY tablets, one mobile phone, one debit card and Rs 1420 in cash were also seized from the possession of Al Mamun.
