KBCC new office inaugurated

IMPHAL, Nov 24: A new office of the Keishamthong Block Congress Committee was opened at the residence of former Minister L Jayentakumar at Pishumthong Oinam Leikai yesterday. At the inauguration event, former Minister L Jayentakumar criticised the Government for "forcibly" organising the Manipur Sangai Festival without considering the suffering and plight of the internally displaced persons. He said the BJP and its allies' claim that peace and normalcy have started to return to Manipur  is appalling. IPDs are languishing in relief camps and they are still unable to return to their homes and villages. The highways are still closed to people and there is no free movement. These are not indications of peace and normalcy returning to Manipur, he added. Keishamthong Block Congress Committee working president Bihari Khuman and many other members attended the inauguration programme.
