IMPHAL, Nov 25: Wangoi AC MLA Khuraijam Loken and officials of the Health and Family Welfare Department's Engineering Cell inspected ongoing construction work at the Community Health Centre today.
During the inspection, the MLA noted that the under-construction labour room and blood bank "lack quality".
The Wangoi CHC is an important health centre for locals of Wangoi and surrounding areas. As such, the authorities concerned must maintain the best quality in construction of the facilities at the CHC, said the MLA.
The work order for the construction of the labour room and the blood bank was issued in 2021, he said.
