Chadong village celebrates 21st Glory Day

IMPHAL, Nov 27: The 21st Glory Day of Chadong village was observed today with great enthusiasm and widespread community participation.
The event drew several dignitaries, including Shija Hospital and Research Centre Managing Director Dr Kh Palin; Chadong Village Headman Wungnaoyo Kasar; Social Activist Ashang Kasar; and former ICHAM president N Rajendro, among others, who attended as presidium members.
Speaking at the function, social activist Ashang Kasar highlighted that the event marked a significant occasion for the people of the village to come together, compete in various sports events, and engage in meaningful discussions on developmental efforts for the community.
Dr Kh Palin emphasised the potential of Chadong village to be developed into a world-class resort destination, capable of attracting tourists from across the globe. He added that such an initiative could generate substantial income for both the village and the State.
The celebration concluded with renewed commitment from villagers and leaders to work collectively for the progress and prosperity of Chadong.
