One killed in hit and run case

Moirang, Nov 29 : A 63-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident near the boathouse of Takmu Water Sports Complex along the Moirang-Sendra road in the early hours today.
The deceased has been identified as Phairembam Mikoi, a resident of Moirang Mayai Leikai.
According to reports, the accident took place around 3.50 am when an unidentified vehicle struck Mikoi and fled the scene.
Moirang police have registered a case.
