YCC trounce BSC-A by 92 runs in Veteran Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Nov 29 : YCC, Wangkhei produced a scintillating performance to steamroll BSC-A, Brahmapur Lalji Lakpa Leikai by 92 runs today in a Group A match of the 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.
Toss winners YCC posted a competitive total of 180 runs for all wickets down in 29.4 overs riding on a half century knock from Binishan (74 off 63 balls) and significant contributions from Itombi (25 off 40) and Winkan (23 off 28) before bowling out BSC-A for a paltry total of 80 runs within 20.3 overs.
Bullu (3/31), Rajibkumar (2/20), and Thomas (2/31) led the BSC-A bowling attack earlier in the first innings before L Sanjit (3/15), Everest (3/8), and Winkan (2/28) of YCC overhauled their performances and set up their quick collapse.
Gunindro of YCC also claimed a wicket.
For BSC-A, Rishi emerged the highest run getter on 22 runs off 26 balls followed by Rajibkumar 18 and Rakesh 10.
L Sanjit of YCC was declared man of the match as he added 11 runs and claimed three crucial wickets. -
