Dengue still infects

IMPHAL, Dec 9: Dengue is no longer a seasonal disease as at least three individuals tested positive for the vector-borne illness today. All three infected individuals are residents of Imphal East.
According to a bulletin issued by the Health Directorate, a total of 5,505 Dengue cases have been reported this year. Imphal West has recorded 3,706 cases alone, while Imphal East has reported 1,209 cases. Additionally, one Dengue-related death was reported in Bishnupur earlier this year.
