BJP MLAs start leaving for Delhi

IMPHAL, Dec 12: Responding promptly to the invitation sent by the BJP for a meeting at New Delhi on December 14 at 5.30 pm, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda and some BJP MLAs left Imphal for Delhi today.
But the majority of the MLAs are likely to go to Delhi on Saturday.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda, MLAs SS Olish (Chandel AC), Thounaojam Basanta-kumar (Nambol AC), Kh Raghu-mani (Uripok AC), and Lourembam Rameshwor (Keirao AC) left Imphal for Delhi today.
MLAs Thokchom Radhe-shyam (Heirok AC) and Dr Yumnam Radheshyam (Hi-yanglam AC) are already in Delhi.
Majority of the other BJP MLAs including Speaker Thokchom Satyabrata and ex-Chief Minister N Biren are expected to leave Imphal for Delhi on Saturday, sources said.
Notably, the meeting scheduled on Dec 14 is being convened by BJP  president JP Nadda and it is being speculated that the meeting may deliberate on the current situation of Manipur and formation of a  new popular Govt.
