Promoted to IG

IMPHAL, Dec 12: Dr Sanasam Ranbir has become the first Manipuri to hold the post of Inspector General (Medical) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
Dr Sanasam Ranbir hails from Uripok Haobam Dewan Leikai.
He will now serve as the IG (Medical) in the Border Security Force (BSF).
The order for his promotion from DIG (Medical) to the rank of IG (Medical) was issued by the BSF's Medical Directorate yesterday.
As per the order, Dr Ranbir will be posted as IG (Medical) at the Composite Hospital, BSF Sector Headquarters, Aizawl.
