MC Mary Kom become ambassador for POLO CITY

IMPHAL, Dec 12: On the auspicious occasion of Nupi Lan, boxing icon MC Mary Kom has joined POLO CITY as partner and brand ambassador. As partner and brand ambassador of POLO CITY, MC Mary Kom has announced various programmes to support the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the State.
As per a release issued by Glazing Hills Infracon Private Limited, Mary Kom will also be unveiling a new app-based ride-hailing service called ‘POLO CITY’. POLO CITY aims to redefine transport in Manipur while building opportunities for communities most affected by the recent crisis.
MC Mary Kom said “Rebuilding Manipur will require compassion, action, and opportunity. Through POLO CITY, we want every displaced family to believe that a dignified livelihood and a hopeful future are possible again. This platform belongs to the people”.
Key announcements: Interest-free loans for commercial cars value up to Rs 5 lakh with POLO CITY covering 100% interest; Priority onboarding of IDP drivers and zero platform fee for the first 3 months; Free Boxing Academy seats for IDP youth in Mary Kom Regional Boxing Foundation, Imphal including coaching, mentorship, and equipment support;
Women-Driven Fleet Program for IDP women with training and licensing assistance; and digital skills & livelihood workshops to promote mobility entrepreneurship.
