Stir enters 13th day

IMPHAL, Dec 13: The protest demonstration by internally displaced persons at Lamboikhongnangkhong relief camp demanding resettlement has entered 13th day today.
Started on December 1 under Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), the stir today reminded the Government of its assurance to effect resettlement of the IDPs by December end.
COCOMI consultative member Sunil Karam, Nonpok Leingak Apunba Nupi Lup secretary Nongthombam Rdhamani among others took part in the protest demonstration.
The IDPs urged the State Government to keep its assurance and allow them to return and resettle at their original villages and homes.
