63rd Mr Manipur-2025 Phila Yangya clinches women’s bodybuilding crown

IMPHAL, Dec 14 : Phila Yangya of Royal Gymnasium, Ukhrul was crowned the women’s bodybuilding champion in the 63rd Mr Manipur 2025 conducted by the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) at the auditorium of Manipur University, Canchipur.
Phila Yangya’s compatriot Thashim Pheirei settled for the second place in the competition while Laimayum Niva Devi of United Gym, Naoremthong finished third.
Wahengbam Kiran of MPSC was meanwhile adjudged overall champion in the masters section as Sanasam Ranjan of X-Fitness, Wangkhei and Ngasepam Tiken of RCC YAS were declared second and third.
Kiran topped the 40-50 years category event at the bodybuilding championship that began yesterday as Longjam Ashok of TAT Gym, Yumnam Huidrom and Oinam Sanjoy of Muscle Factory, Kakching settled for the second and third places.
Sanasam Ranjan meanwhile emerged on top in the 50-60 years category as Laimayum Gibindo Sharma and Ngasepam Devan finished second and third.
Ngashepam Tiken on the other hand topped the 60+ years title as L Modhu of X-Fitness and L Kiran of Pakhangba Gym finished second and third.
Naorem Jayanta of Royal Fitness Academy, Thoubal in the meantime bagged the physically challenged category title as Hemam Rohit of Sajen Shang and Sagolsem Montu of A3 Fitness, Khurai were placed second and third.
Physique
Oinam Libert Meitei of MK Fitness Centre, Tera sealed the men’s sports physique title in the event as Naorem Fredy of DJ Gym and Fitness Center, Kakching and Yumnam Robert of Muscle Factory finished second and third.
In the women’s model physique competition, Laishangbam Sonia of Muscle Factory clinched the top honour as L Cherishma of United Gym and Chingri Khapai Shimrah of Royal Gymnasium secured the second and third places.
