Agnes Maram crowned Miss Barak 2025

SENAPATI, Dec 15: Agnes MR of Maram tribe was crowned Miss Barak 2025 on Sunday. Masianguangliu Abonmei from Rongmei community and Shudziini Christina from the Mao community bagged the first and second runners up title respectively.
Agnes hails from Rajaimai village, under Willong sub-division, and is the daughter of MR Luikang and Rose.
She is also the reigning Miss Maram 2025, a title she won in January this year.
The pageant, a part of the State Level Barak Festival, witnessed the contestants showcasing poise and confidence in attire, displaying their skills.
In the pageant, Agnes MR also won the best designer award.
Heisnam Joshila Devi bagged the best catwalk title, Babina Thokchom bagged the Guardian of the Barak title and P Reivienei bagged the Miss Talented title.
The Miss Barak crown carries a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh.
The 1st runner up title carries a cash award of Rs 1 lakh and the 2nd runner up title carries a Rs 75,000 award.
Each subtitle winner walked away with a cash prize of Rs 20,000 each.
