22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament Devkumar picks five as YPHU-N steamroll YAC by 8 wickets

IMPHAL, Dec 16 : YPHU-Nongin (N) scored an impressive 8-wicket win over YAC, Yaiskul in a Group B match of the ongoing 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.
Devkumar shone in the match as he enjoyed a 5 wicket haul (5/18) to help YPHU-N bundle out YAC for 87 runs in 21.5 overs before Then Then 33 not out off 50, Dhaneshor 26 off 22 led YPHU-N to the target within 14.4 overs.
Herod 41, Chitranjan 12 were the only double digit run getters for YAC after they were asked to bat first as Jinta 2/35, Shantikumar 2/16 and Surjit 1/9 also shone with the ball for YPHU-N.
Sarat and Chitaranjan picked a wicket apiece for YAC in the second innings.
