Assam Rifles Public School hosts Annual Day at Pallel

IMPHAL, Dec 16: Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Pallel, Kakching District, celebrated its Annual Day on Tuesday under the themes “Change is Inevitable" and “One Nation One Family.”
The IGAR (South) in a release stated that the programme reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education and its role in fostering unity among diverse communities.
The Deputy Inspector General, Assam Rifles, Pallel, attended as chief guest along with senior officials and troops, encouraging the young performers and reaffirming support for education and community welfare.
The event began with a ceremonial opening followed by a cultural programme presented by students. Performances included dances, songs, dramas, fashion shows, poem recitations, patriotic items and socially relevant skits. Each presentation highlighted creativity and teamwork, while the theme underscored the importance of embracing change and strengthening bonds across communities.
The programme highlighted India’s cultural diversity and values, with students from varied indigenous communities of Manipur participating together.
A total of 162 students, 88 parents and 15 teachers took part in the celebration, making it an inclusive occasion for the ARPS family.
The event reaffirmed the school’s role as an institution of learning and as a center for social cohesion, cultural exchange and value-based education in the region.
