Security forces recover arms in CCpur

IMPHAL, Dec 16: Security forces recovered arms from Khaopijang village cemetery under Churachandpur district today.
The arms recovered include one AK Rifle with magazine, one MA-3 MK II Rifle along with magazine, one INSAS Rifle along with magazine and one .315 Rifle along with magazine, said the police.
The seizure of the arms came amid DGP Rajiv Singh's visit to the district today.
During the visit, the DGP inaugurated the conference room of the office of the SP Churachandpur.
He chaired a comprehensive security review meeting with officers of the police and security forces deployed in the district to assess prevailing situation and review preparedness.
The DGP also interacted with representatives of various CSOs of the district.
