Oath taking ceremony held

IMPHAL, Dec 19 : The lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony of the 6th batch BSc Nursing students of Irengbam Thamcha Devi (ITD) Nursing & Health Care Research Institute was held today at GM Hall, Imphal.
The ceremony marked the initiation of the newly admitted students into the noble profession dedicated to the service of humanity.
The ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including Ruwndar Jeany Anal Naga, Senior Commandant, CRPF Group Centre, Silchar; Dr Irengbam Ibotombi, Founder, ITD Nursing & Health Care Research Institute; Prof Thoudam Nandarani, National Vice President, TNAI North East Region; ITD Nursing & Health Care Research Institute’s Principal Prof Irengbam Nalini Devi and Vice Principal Prof Mayanglambam Shanti Devi.
At the event, speakers highlighted the key role of nurses in developing the healthcare sector and added that the people should acknowledge the contributions and sacrifices made by the nurses.
They also advised the students who are stepping into the nursing profession to serve the patients with compassion & extreme care without any discrimination based on colour, caste or creed.
