MSAC donates clothes to slum dwellers

IMPHAL, Dec 19 : The Manipur Students’ Association Chandigarh (MSAC) organised a clothes donation drive on December 19 at Vikas Nagar, Chandigarh, for the slum dwellers living in the area, as part of its ongoing commitment to social justice and people-centered action.
The drive was carried out by MSAC members and volunteers who collectively distributed over 200 pieces of clothes to individuals living in Vikas Nagar area.
As per a release issued by MSAC, the clothes were collected through student contributions and community support over the past two weeks.
During the distribution, MSAC members interacted closely with residents, listened to their concerns, and reaffirmed solidarity with communities that are often excluded from development narratives.
The drive highlighted the urgent need for sustained engagement, structural reforms, and inclusive policies that address the root causes of poverty rather than offering temporary relief.
