NCC Group Commander meets cadets

KAKCHING, Dec 19: Colonel Anil Kumar, Officiating Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Imphal, paid a visit to the ongoing National Cadet Corps (NCC) Annual Training Camp at Padma Ratna English School, Kakching, on Thursday.
The visit aimed to motivate cadets and review the various training and leadership activities being conducted at the camp.
During the visit, Colonel Kumar delivered the opening address of the camp, motivating cadets and reviewing the various training and leadership activities being conducted.
On arrival, the Officiating Group Commander was warmly received by Major Bigyanchandra Rajkumar, Camp Commandant, along with Thokchom Jiten, principal of Padma Ratna English School, NCC Officers, PI staff and cadets.
A ceremonial guard of honour was presented by the cadets, followed by a detailed briefing on the camp's objectives, daily training schedule and the achievements of the participating cadets. Addressing the cadets, the dignitaries praised their enthusiasm, discipline and commitment to the value of the NCC. They emphasized the importance of youth participation in nation-building and encouraged cadets to uphold unity, leadership and service.
The visit also included interactions with instructors and camp officials, as well as an inspection of the training activities. The event concluded with the rendition of the NCC song followed by the National Anthem.
