MU announces Women’s football team for East Zone Inter University Tournament

IMPHAL, Dec 19 : The Department of Sports, Manipur University has announced the University women’s football team for the East Zone Inter University Tournament 2025-26 scheduled to be held from February 9 to 13 at Vidyasagar University. The players who made it to the university team, as listed in the selection order issued by the Assistant Director of Sports, MU, are as follows.
Goalkeepers : L Anjita of SSGG College, N Sana of Ng Mani College;
Defenders : Sh Mekola, K Priyanka, Kh Rebena, Golmei Abem, L Malemnganbi of SSGG College; A Nanao of TS Paul MW College, Kh Sandhya of Kha Manipur College;
Midfielders : K Helina, L Bejiya, Ch Anjali and Y Shina of SSGG College; L Lucy and Kh Merina of TS Paul MW College, M Jeena of Biramangol College;
Forwards : Binapani, Th Merina, I Diya, and Ph Abema of SSGG College.
Defenders M Albina of SSGG College and Seram Vijita of Liberal College; midfielders Ravina K Tarao of SEMCO and Ringningveer Moyon of SEMCO; forwards Akham Bidya and Fanny Mungkung of Liber College were also named in the reserve list.
The players were further directed to report at the office of Assistant Director of Sports, MU at 11 am on December 22 for further directives.
