Lecture, awareness programme conducted

IMPHAL, Dec 20 : An awareness cum training programme to educate the public/consumers on the safe use and care of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) was held today at Tingri Football Ground, Imphal West district.
The programme was organised by Tingri Youth Development Association in collaboration with All Gas Care (AGC) Manipur State.
During the programme, Sh Joyprakash, Manager, AGC Manipur State offered valuable insights on various safety measures of using LPG Gas with practical demonstration to the gathering.
Hawaibam Ronibala Devi, Ward Member, Awang Potshangbam Gram Panchayat was also present at the event.
Moreover, Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) organised a ‘Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Memorial Lecture’ at JNMDA Auditorium in Imphal today.
The programme, presided by Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Akham Lakhmi Devi began with the offering of floral tributes to Rajarshi Bhagyachandra.
MSKA Awardee Ranjit Adhikarimayum delivered a lecture on the topic, “Lamdam Sigee Umanglai Haraoba Amadi Manipuri Raas Leela Ga Leinaba Mari”.
