Bridge damaged in accident

IMPHAL, Dec 21: An accident occurred on RCC bridge between Khumji Bazar and Longmai bazar at around 6.10 pm today. The truck carrying cement was travelling from Jiribam toward Imphal. The driver reportedly left the vehicle parked on the side of the road. The parked vehicle moved and hit  four-wheeler before ramming into the bar of the bridge. A portion of the body of the truck is hanging over the bridge, said sources.
