Free eye camp held at Thoubal

THOUBAL, Dec 23: A one-day free eye camp was organised today at Bright Foundation School, Thoubal Kshetri Leikai, through the joint initiative of the Lions Club of Thoubal, Shija Eye Care Foundation and Thoubal Kshetri Shanglen.
Speaking on the occasion, past president of the Lions Club Thoubal and retired CMO Dr Ksh Manglem said that Lions Clubs International was founded in 1917. He recalled that during the International Convention held in 1925, Helen Keller had challenged Lions members to become "Knights of the Blind".
