NISC thump USC 2-0 in IW 3rd Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Dec 24 : NISC, Lairenjam thumped USC, Phayeng by 2-0 goals in the 6th match of the ongoing 7th Sh Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football League Tournament.
After a goalless first half, Lanchenba put NISC ahead in the 62nd minute before Bidyananda netted the decisive goal in the 74th minute.
Later in the day, UYPA, Kha-Jiri and KYDC, Kiyam Sangaithel Road played out a 1-1 draw.
Rickson scored the equaliser for UYPA in the 26th minute after KYDC went up front thanks to Nganba’s 15th minute strike.
Neither team were able to add up in the remainder of the game and eventually the two sides shared a point apiece.
