MU Taekwondo teams announced

IMPHAL, Dec 24 : The Department of Sports, Manipur University has announced the names of players shortlisted in the men and women’s teams for the All India Inter University Taekwondo Championships, 2025-26.
Sh Bidyalaxmi, Naorem Rima, Yumnam Monita of Manipur University; Kh Chan Chan of Regional College and K Gangarani of TS Paul MW College are in the women’s Kyorugi squad as Potsangbam Linthoi of Manipur University, M Priyadarshini of Manipur University, Wahengbam Martina and N Sania of TS Paul Manipur Women’s College made it to the Poomsae squad.
The women’s championship is scheduled to be held from March 16 to 20 at DAV University, Jalandhar, Punjab.
L Tomthinganba of KP College, Kh Korounganba of Biramangol College, L Bablu of NL Sanoi College, and T Brojeshworkumar of KP College meanwhile made it to the men’s kyorugi squad as RK Liokanta of NG College was listed as the lone Poomsae player for the championship to be hosted by Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha from March 16 to 20.
The players were further instructed to report to the Assistant Director of Sports, MU on January 5 by 11 am for further details.
